After returning from the Vietnam War in 1970, United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Frank Maggio was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart from wounds received in combat.? Due to his wounds, Frank was certified 40% disabled for loss of hearing in his left ear and shrapnel in his left arm.? This certifies “Maggio Construction Company” as a “Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business” (SDVOSB).??
After his discharge he enrolled in a 4 year trade school offered by the Washington Carpenters Union, paid for by the G.I. Bill, which he successfully graduated from in 1975.? Franks on the job training apprenticeship and schooling taught him many valuable skills such as; Custom Home Building, Commercial Building, Drywall, Shaftwall/ Firewall, Framing, Acoustical Ceilings, Doors, Frames and Hardware.? Frank worked on many of the buildings and subways that you see in Washington, DC?today.?
After serving an additional 5 years in the Washington carpenters union, Frank started his own business in 1980.? Since that time he has offered and performed services for Home Improvements, New Homes, Interior Office Renovations, Exterior Structural Stud, Shaftwall, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Doors, Frames and Hardware.

We currently have several lead men that have been with the company from 15 to 25 years and are most efficient in all their duties.? Our employees are drug free and well trained in safety and job site etiquette.? We are?a family owned business employing Frank, his wife Jenette, his son Jon and his son Jason.
